Christina Crout

Christina Crout is a licensed funeral director with a deep passion for funeral service, a journey she began at the age of 15 as support staff at Santeiu Funeral Home in Garden City, MI. Christina quickly developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of empathy, which led her to pursue a career in funeral service. She became a licensed funeral director in 2009 and has been committed to serving families with care and compassion ever since.
Christina’s career has spanned a variety of roles, including assistant manager at Fred Wood Funeral Home, where she worked alongside some of her most cherished colleagues. She has also dedicated over five years to the Michigan Funeral Directors Association District One Board, where she served as treasurer. In this role, she provided vital support to funeral service professionals, organized holiday events, and contributed to focus groups and councils aimed at improving the industry and supporting fellow funeral directors.
A passionate advocate for the funeral service profession, Christina is excited to join IFPA and continue to support and strengthen the industry she believes in. Outside of her professional life, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their three children, Hailey, Nathan, and Carter. She loves cooking, hosting gatherings at home, playing games with family and friends, as well as camping, hiking, and reading.
